Behavioral Health Job Details

• Location: Raleigh, NC 27617 – Explore North Carolina's capital, known for its thriving culture, healthcare opportunities, and beautiful parks.
• Healthcare Setting: Inpatient Behavioral Health Clinic
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (September 29, 2025 – December 29, 2025)
• Therapist Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (8-hour days)
• Hours per Week: 40
• Weekend Hours: Optional pickup available
• Call Requirements: None
• Patient Population: Adult
• Unit Size: 77 beds
• Patient Ratio: 1:12
• Dress Code: Business casual
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2000-$2050/week

Therapist Job Requirements

• Active Therapist license in the state of North Carolina (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or equivalent preferred)
• Minimum 1 year of experience in behavioral health, mental health, or clinical therapy (newer therapists with strong skills considered)
• Ability to float between 3 behavioral health units as needed
• Strong communication, clinical assessment, and teamwork skills
• Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems; Pinpoint preferred

Clinic Therapist Responsibilities

• Deliver therapeutic services to adult patients in an inpatient behavioral health setting
• Lead individual and group therapy sessions for diverse patient populations
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient treatment plans
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate clinical records in the EHR
• Provide crisis intervention and support patients through recovery processes
• Float between behavioral health units to ensure optimal patient care and clinical support
