Controls Engineer - Systems Integration

Location: Onsite in Salisbury, NC
Salary: Up to $125k base + bonus
Requirements: 5+ controls engineering experience related to systems integration or machine building + exposure to Robotics and Machine Vision

This is an onsite position. You MUST live, or be willing to relocate to the greater Charlotte area.

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Systems Integration Engineer to design, implement, and optimize control systems related to Machine Vision turnkey solutions. The ideal candidate will have expertise in HMI development, PLC programming, and robotics, and will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our automated systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop control systems for automated processes.
• Program and troubleshoot PLCs to ensure seamless operation.
• Develop Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs) for operator interaction.
• Integrate robotics systems into existing manufacturing processes.
• Conduct electrical design and analysis for control systems.
• Work collaboratively with other engineering teams to ensure system compatibility and performance.
• Implement and maintain SCADA systems for real-time data monitoring.
• Perform system troubleshooting and issue resolution to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• B.S.in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems or similar
• Proven experience in HMI development and PLC programming.
• Strong understanding of robotics and automated systems.
• Familiarity with electrical design principles and practices.
• Experience with SCADA systems and industrial networks is a plus.
• Knowledge of troubleshooting techniques and sensor technologies.
• Proficiency in CAD software for system design and layout.
• Understanding of instrumentation and process control methods.

Bonus points if you have experience with Vision systems!
