NC Auto Safety and Emissions Licensed Inspector
Job Summary:
Responsible for performing North Carolina state-required vehicle safety and emissions inspections in compliance with DMV regulations.
Responsibilities:
Perform NC safety and emissions inspections
Accurately document inspection results
Identify defects and explain results to customers
Follow all NC DMV inspection procedures
Maintain inspection equipment and records
Requirements:
Current NC Safety and/or Emissions Inspector License (required)
Valid driver’s license
Basic automotive knowledge
Strong attention to detail and reliability
Work Environment:
Automotive service or inspection facility; standing, bending, and working around vehicles required.
You should be proficient in:
- Mechanical Troubleshooting Skills
- Maintenance and Repair Skills
- Excellent Communication Skills
