Job Highlights include:

• Hospitalist with a growing 9-hospital physician led healthcare system
• Location is a 114-bed, not-for-profit hospital, located in Ahoskie NC. Ability to live in nearby Greenville, North Carolina or Edenton, NC
• Beautiful beaches and waterfront scenery nearby
• The 15-bed ER serves approximately 21,000 patients per year from the local community and surrounding towns.
• High quality hospitalist team inclusive of 8 physicians
• 7on/7off 7am-7pm schedule, no night shifts required
• Anticipated inpatient volume per provider is 14-16 patients per day
• Coverage includes a 10-bed Intensive Care Unit
• Short term vent management will be required
• Optional procedures include CVP, intubations, and lumbar punctures
• Tele ICU support available
• Specialty support includes general surgery, cardiology, obstetrics and gynecology, pulmonary and respiratory, radiology, anesthesia, emergency medicine, neurosciences, oncology, orthopedics and dermatology
• In addition to a competitive compensation and benefits plan, qualified applicants may also be eligible for loan repayment, sign-on bonus, income guarantees, and residency/fellowship paid commitment stipends.

Requirements:

• Board Certified / Board Eligible: Internal Medicine Physician or Family Medicine Physician
• Eligible to hold North Carolina state medical license
• Must have at least 1 year of hospitalist experience
