Behavioral Health Clinic Therapist Job Details

• Location: Raleigh, NC 27617 (North Carolina behavioral health jobs)
• Healthcare Setting: Behavioral Health Clinic – Admissions Department
• Assignment Type: Travel/Contract behavioral health therapist position
• Start Date: September 29, 2025
• End Date: December 29, 2025
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Hours per Week: 40 (full-time clinical therapist job)
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2000-$2050
• Shift: Rotating schedule: Days (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM) and Nights (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM); 8-hour shifts; includes weekends and holidays as part of rotation
• Patient Population: Adult behavioral health patients
• Dress Code: Business Attire

Clinic Therapist Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or related mental health field
• Active North Carolina state therapist license (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or equivalent)
• CPR and CPI certifications (may be obtained within 30 days of employment)
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a behavioral health, clinical, or mental health setting preferred
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends as needed

Behavioral Health Therapist Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and manage admissions for adult behavioral health patients
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Deliver therapeutic interventions, crisis management, and clinical support as required
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in Electronic Health Records (EHR – Pinpoint)
• Foster a safe, respectful, and therapeutic environment for all patients in the behavioral health clinic
