Job Title: Specialist, Systems Engineering Job Code: 31062 Job Location: Greenville, TX Schedule: 9/80 Job Description: The Specialist, Systems Engineer (SE) performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, and troubleshooting for total systems and or subsystems. The Specialist SE is part of a team that supports the requirements, design, development, test, and integration of complex, specialized hardware/software systems installed on ground and airborne communication platforms. Essential Functions: + Be a member of a diversely skilled engineering team in the design, implementation, and testing of Networking Systems. + Must work on the facility with some limited flexibility. Qualifications: + Requires bachelor's degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience, or Graduate Degree or equivalent with 2 years of prior related experience, or, in lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience. + Minimum of active DoD Secret Clearance and the ability to obtain a Top Secret/SCI Clearance, which requires US Citizenship. + Current CompTIA Security+ certification or the ability to obtain within 6 months. + Ability to travel 10%. Preferred Additional Skills: + Experience in Network and Systems Support/Installation, Cisco, Dell Networking OS10, Brocade IOS, DHCP, DNS, and TCP/IP is highly desirable. + Experience with LAN/WAN routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) is highly desirable. + Experience with packet inspection tools (WireShark, TCPDump) is highly desirable. + Experience with Linux and Microsoft Windows OS is highly desirable. + Experience with multicast routing is desired. + Knowledge of MPLS and VPNs is desired. + Experience with VMWare ESXi and virtual environments. + Experience with HAIPE devices is desired. + Ability to pass an FAA Class 3 flight physical. #LI-EN2 L3Harris Technologies is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
