HOTWORX Matthews-Training Sales Associate
The TSA will work 20-35 hours a week and be available to work every Saturday (hours of operation below)
Staffed Hours of Operation:
- Monday-Thursday 11:00am-8:00pm
- Fridays 9:00am-6:00pm
- Saturdays 11:00am-4:00pm
Requirements:
- MUST love talking to people and be passionate about making real, lasting connections with members and leads.
- Thrives in a sales commission environment
- Effectively communicate benefits of infrared fitness to guests ( training provided )
- Must have NO RESERVATIONS about making outbound calls to leads or doing member outreach.
- STRONG work ethnic, making every effort to support the growth of our studio even in downtimes
- Must be comfortable cleaning workout equipment and handling sweat towels , cleaning saunas and bathrooms to maintain an immaculate studio.
- TEAM PLAYER mentality a must, working well with other team members collaborating to ensure excellent customer service and reach studio goals together.
- Career growth potential for hard work and dedication into management and/or leadership
- Fluent in English , both written and verbal
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Fitness experience preferred
- Must reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (Required)
- Have a valid drivers license & operable vehicle (Required)
Duties:
Make cold calls to new leads: Contact prospective guests that have been generated by our CRM system
Give studio tours: Greet prospects, walk them through the facility, explaining infrared workout benefits, showcasing programs, and setting up their free session.
Promote membership and close sales : Explain membership tiers, upsell retail packages, explain infrared benefits and how they relate to guests personal goals, effectively handling objections.
Member referrals : Encourage current members to refer friends; offer family or friend passes.
Lead conversions : Assist prospective guests in signing up or scheduling trial sessions.
Shift opening/closing : Perform standard opening or closing checklists, secure studio retail net (6+ft must climb stepstool if needed) report any issues.
Maintain cleanliness : Sanitize equipment, towels, benches, and studio areas during and between shifts and remove trash.
Enforce safety protocols : Ensure that all members adhere to infrared-sauna safety rules (hydration, attire, proper equipment usage).
Organize events: Help organize and participate in events or challenges under the guidance of management.
Social Media: Create unique social media posts or digital communications with other team members and participate in engagement (liking commenting on posts and following up on messages and dm's) on our social pages.
Emergency response : Act immediately in cases of member distress—provide first aid, call EMTs as needed, and report incidents.
Shift coordination : Work closely with the manager and other staff to maintain coverage and clear communication.
Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent (Required)
Experience:
1–2 years of experience in a fast-paced customer-facing role (retail, fitness, or wellness preferred)
Proven ability to meet sales goals or promote services with enthusiasm and integrity
Comfortable engaging with guests by phone, and in person, explaining products or services, and handling light administrative tasks
A genuine interest in fitness, wellness, or helping others reach health goals
Must be self-motivated, proactive, and able to stay productive without constant supervision
Work Location: In person onsite at studio location
