Emmy Squared Durham is hiring Line Cooks to join our team and help deliver exceptional dining experiences! You will: Prepare all menu items with precision, consistency, and adherence to recipes. Maintain sanitation standards that meet health department guidelines. Organize and uphold assigned kitchen workstations. Coordinate food production to align with service hours, ensuring quality and presentation. Practice safe food handling and proper storage techniques. Report maintenance and repair needs for kitchen equipment to management. Keep work areas clean and equipment well-maintained. Perform other back-of-house duties as assigned by management. What You Bring to the Table: At least 1 year of experience as a line cook in a full-service restaurant. Knowledge of modern cooking techniques; pizza expertise is a plus! A passion for food and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Calm and welcoming demeanor, even under pressure. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Physical capability to lift/carry up to 40 lbs., push/pull up to 75 lbs., and stand for extended periods. Familiarity with culinary tools and the ability to taste and smell for quality assurance.
