Registered Nurse Job Details

• Location: Fayetteville, NC 28304 (North Carolina healthcare jobs)
• Facility Type: Short-term acute care, Level III Trauma Center, Teaching Hospital
• Assignment: Locum tenens (travel RN contract)
• Start Date: September 8, 2025
• End Date: December 8, 2025
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: 3x12-hour day shifts (06:45 - 19:15), includes 7 days of call and one Saturday (08:45 - 13:30) per 5-week schedule
• Weekly Hours: 36 guaranteed
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2110 - $2170
• Charting System: Epic
• COVID-19 Vaccine: Not required
• Local Candidates: Not accepted within 50 miles of facility

Cath Lab RN Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina or compact state
• Minimum 2 years of recent Cath Lab RN experience (cardiac catheterization lab)
• Proficiency with Epic electronic health record (EHR) system
• Ability to participate in on-call rotation as scheduled
• Must pass advanced EKG exam for compliance
• No references required at time of submittal
• No background or license issues within the last year
• Cannot have worked at this facility within the past year as a traveler
• Maximum of 2 contracts with this facility system (one extension allowed)

Cath Lab RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and interventional cardiology procedures
• Monitor and assess cardiac patients before, during, and after procedures
• Collaborate with physicians, technologists, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Accurately document all care and procedures in Epic EHR
• Participate in on-call rotation and provide patient care during scheduled call shifts
• Maintain a safe, sterile, and compliant environment in the Cath Lab
• Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance requirements
