Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 06:45 - 19:15 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2+ years License: Valid RN license Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: - Stepdown experience - Telemetry experience Description: Committed to providing positive impact and high-quality care. Recognized for excellence in clinical quality and patient safety. The primary patient population includes cardiovascular and vascular surgery patients. Key procedures involve open heart surgery, thoracic lung surgery, and various vascular procedures. The unit has 40 cardiac surgery stepdown beds. Approximately 100 staff members support the unit, ensuring optimal patient care. The patient ratio is 1:5 for nurses and 1:13 for patient care technicians. Required skills include managing medications and performing critical procedures. Candidates with prior experience in cardiovascular surgery or vascular patient populations will be prioritized. The environment is fast-paced, requiring flexibility and team collaboration. Weekend requirements include a minimum of 6 shifts every 6 weeks. No call is required. About Cynet Health
