Travel RN Job Details

• Position Title: Travel Rehab Registered Nurse (RN)
• Assignment Type: Locum tenens / Travel nursing
• Healthcare Setting: Inpatient Rehabilitation
• Location: Greensboro, NC 27401 (North Carolina healthcare jobs)
• Start Date: September 2, 2025
• End Date: December 2, 2025
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 3x12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), every 3rd weekend, holidays as needed
• Weekly Hours: 36
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1680-$1730
• Patient Ratio: 1:6
• Floating: Required between all campuses as needed

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (North Carolina or compact state; must be in hand at submission)
• Minimum 1 year of recent acute inpatient rehab nursing experience
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)
• Proficiency with EPIC charting system
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Ability to pass EKG exam during compliance (2 attempts allowed)
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions accepted)
• Willingness to float to other campuses as needed
• Compliance with facility background check and education verification
• No local candidates accepted (must reside more than 50 miles from facility)

Travel Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in an inpatient rehabilitation setting
• Care for patients with CVA, TBI, ABI, spinal cord injury, neurological diagnoses, and generalized debility
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, medication administration, and patient/family education
• Interpret lab results, conduct medication reconciliation, and document in EPIC electronic health records
• Manage vital signs, dressing changes, wound care, and assist with mobility and adaptive equipment
• Utilize aseptic/sterile techniques, perform phlebotomy, and manage feeding tubes and tracheostomies
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and collaborate with clinical support staff
• Float to other units/campuses as required to meet patient care needs
• Maintain compliance with all facility policies, including attendance and timely completion of orientation modules
