Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist
Help Prepare Aircrew for Peak Performance

HumCap's client is seeking a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) that will play a critical role in enhancing human performance in modern combat aviation environments.
In this role, you will design and implement individualized strength and conditioning programs that reduce injury risk, improve physical performance, and support long-term readiness. Working alongside an interdisciplinary team, you will help aircrew perform at their highest level through evidence-based training, prehabilitation strategies, recovery programming, and reconditioning support following injury.

- Develop and deliver individualized, job-specific strength and conditioning programs tailored to operational demands.
- Implement performance-focused training, injury prevention, recovery, and prehabilitation strategies.
- Collaborate closely with medical and interdisciplinary teams to support rehabilitation and return-to-flight initiatives.
- Assist with curriculum development, education, and ongoing program evaluation.
- Collect, manage, and maintain performance and readiness data with a high degree of accuracy and integrity.
- Support research initiatives and evidence-based performance optimization efforts.
- Perform additional duties in support of mission and program objectives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of strength and conditioning experience in collegiate athletics, professional sports, tactical performance, aerospace, military, or other high-performance environments.
- Current NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) or CSCCa Strength & Conditioning Coach Certified (SCCC) certification.
- Current CPR and AED certification.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance (T3 background investigation).
- U.S. citizenship is required for security clearance eligibility and employment in this position.
