Construction Specialist II

**Duration: 12 Months** **Hybrid, 3 days/week in office, Personal vehicle may be driven w/mileage reimbursed. ? 10% travel.** **Job Description:** + To support the PMC QA organization in metrics, tracking, desktop auditing, reporting and ongoing maintenance and continued improvement of PMC QA group **Key Responsibilities** + Work with direct supervision with internal and external contacts to provide Quality Assurance and Quality Control services on PMC Projects and activities. + Works with direct supervision to provide support and analysis functions for the group (Site Quality, and Supplier Quality). + Responsible for providing support for the maintenance and continued improvement of PMC's Quality Assurance Program, Site Specific QAPs, procedures, QA Construction Inspection Procedures + Single point of contact for coordinating the use of internal and external contract resources to support QA auditing and supplier surveillance activities in a timely manner, which includes (but not limited to): Coordinating inspections, distributing reports, communicating issues, and Manage tracking/logging/trending. + Responsible for assisting QA Leads in the development of scope of work requests for third party audit and surveillance contractors + Responsible for assisting with the assembly of supplier inspections packages consisting of specifications, drawings and checklists required to perform audit and surveillance + Responsible for assisting with the assembly of audit packages consisting of specifications, drawings and checklists required to perform audit and surveillance. + Responsible for performing monthly auditing of the PMC QA Vendor Audit Schedule(s)/matrix. + Responsible for performing monthly auditing of filed report numbers in Procore and Share Point. + Support development and issuance of the Weekly and Monthly QA Reports + Responsible for maintaining the QA Group Share point site. + Responsible for the QA Workflow Manager role in Procore for all PMC projects. + Responsible for monthly auditing the QA NCR, Observation, and inspections in Procore. + Responsible for developing and generating reporting metrics and reporting in Procore + Manage storage and retrieval of QA documents on Share Point + Responsible for managing the internal Quality Assurance Action Tracking system + In addition will provide auditing of internal PMC processes. + Responsible for providing input for the continued development of the Duke Energy PMC Quality Assurance Programs. **Required Experience:** + Proficient working experience with Procore. + Proficient working experience with SharePoint. + Proficient working experience with Excel, Word, and Power Point. + Ability to coordinate QA/QC activities on large construction projects. **Preferred Experience:** + Power BI + Data analysis / trending and reporting + Quality management experience (quality tools) + Problem Solving (Lean six sigma, casual analysis, etc.) + Knowledge of relevant industry Codes and Standards + Large construction project coordination experience in engineering, operations, or construction of large-scale projects (power plants, supplier oversight, or geotechnical projects). + Supports a diverse Construction and Maintenance team to achieve safety and company objectives. + Possesses leadership skills to support construction, maintenance and restoration activities. + Responsible for supporting the execution of the work to meet customer needs. Support management of customer commitment dates and requests to increase customer satisfaction.
