Commercial Lines Account Manager

Leavitt Elite is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Commercial Lines Account Manager to support our commercial insurance operations. This role is ideal for someone with strong communication skills and a solid understanding of commercial insurance products who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. You’ll play a key role in servicing accounts, supporting producers, and ensuring client satisfaction through accurate policy management and responsive service.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate client records and update policy applications in the agency management system.

• Understand and apply carrier products, underwriting guidelines, binding authority, policy forms, and rating tools.

• Service existing accounts by:

  • Answering coverage questions and recommending solutions.

  • Processing policy changes and claims.

  • Issuing insurance documents (e.g., auto ID cards, certificates).

  • Resolving client issues and following up on pending cancellations.

  • Collecting agency-billed premiums.

• Market new and renewal business:

  • Complete underwriting applications and submit to carriers.

  • Compile and present quotes.

  • Create professional insurance proposals.

• Stay informed on product updates and communicate changes to clients.

• Assist with phone coverage and general office duties.

• Represent the agency professionally and positively.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.

• Bilingual in Spanish /English preferred

• Active Property & Casualty license (must be maintained).

• 4 + years of experience in servicing commercial lines within the trucking industry

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Reliable, detail-oriented, and responsive to feedback.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
