**What You'll Do:**
+ Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies as directed by Allied Universal, providing professional customer service to all individuals at the healthcare location.
+ Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations within the healthcare environment in a calm and problem-solving manner, following appropriate protocols.
+ Monitor and report any irregularities, unusual circumstances, or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
+ Support emergency response activities as required, coordinating with staff and/or first responders as needed.
+ Maintain a visible presence throughout the assigned areas to help to deter unwanted activity and to assist staff, patients, and visitors when appropriate.
+ Document and communicate all security-related incidents and/or observations according to Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ An armed guard card or license is required.
+ Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
+ Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
+ The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
+ CPR certification is preferred.
+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
