**Job Title: Production Supervisor**
**Job Description**
As a Production Supervisor, you will ensure the seamless operation of the production line by adhering to safety rules, setting production goals, and maintaining the plant's housekeeping standards. You will analyze scorecards and production reports, oversee warehouse personnel, and manage raw material and finished goods inventory to align with production schedules and financial planning. Your role will also include hiring, training, promoting, and disciplining employees, adjusting schedules for adequate shift coverage, and ensuring compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
**Responsibilities**
+ Ensure all safety rules are followed.
+ Set production goals and expectations.
+ Maintain proper housekeeping of the plant.
+ Analyze scorecards and production reports.
+ Oversee yard/warehouse personnel.
+ Hire, train, promote, and discipline employees.
+ Adjust employee schedules to ensure adequate coverage of shifts.
+ Plan and manage raw material and finished goods inventory.
+ Oversee materials replenishment, quality standards, and performance metrics.
+ Control operational costs and identify cost-reduction opportunities.
+ Maintain accurate documentation, report production hours, and monitor employee timekeeping.
+ Direct workers in electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance.
+ Assist and direct workers in diagnosing equipment malfunctions.
+ Observe mechanical devices to ensure proper functioning or identify issues.
+ Study production schedules and estimate worker hour requirements.
+ Interpret company policies and safety regulations.
+ Plan and implement routine and preventative maintenance procedures.
**Essential Skills**
+ Minimum 3+ years industry and general office experience.
+ Working knowledge of manufacturing/production plants.
+ Employee management experience.

This is a Permanent position based out of Rutherford, NJ.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $40.00/hr.
