What You’ll Do
As an Electrical Service Technician, you’ll be the face of Dawson’s in the field, providing exceptional service in our customer’s homes. This isn’t just a technical role, it’s service. You’ll help grow our business by offering solutions, explaining pricing clearly, and building relationships with every customer you meet.
Installing and maintaining electrical systems, wiring, controls, and lighting in residential properties.
Performing routine electrical inspections and maintenance.
Diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems quickly and accurately.
Following electrical codes and safety standards for every job.
Working independently on service calls and collaborating with the team on larger projects.
Communicating with clients and providing smart solutions to solve problems.
Work to build long-lasting relationships and trust with customers and their homes.

High school diploma (technical school or college a plus)
3-5 years of electrician experience (residential experience preferred; light commercial experience a plus)
Knowledge of NEC and electrical codes
Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Ability to pass a drug and background check
Experience with Service Titan or similar CRM software is a plus
