Compensation

• Location: Apex, NC 27502 – A vibrant community near Raleigh, ideal for healthcare professionals seeking North Carolina nursing jobs
• Facility: Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility (IRF), first floor, 26 beds open
• Position Type: Locum tenens (travel contract for Registered Nurses)
• Shift: 12-hour nights (18:45 – 07:15)
• Hours: 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks, with potential contract extension
• Weekend Shifts: 1-2 per month
• Patient Ratio: 6:1
• Electronic Health Record: Cerner

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina or compact state
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)
• Minimum 1 year of experience in adult or geriatric nursing care
• Preferred: Experience in inpatient rehabilitation, skilled nursing, long-term care, or hospital setting
• Strong clinical skills, flexibility, and dependability

Rehabilitation RN Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, or orthopedic injury
• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Monitor patient progress, perform ongoing assessments, and adjust care as needed
• Operate equipment such as Hoyer lifts, DinaMap, and Nova biomedical glucometers
• Document all care and patient outcomes accurately in Cerner EHR
• Foster a safe, supportive, and healing environment for patients and their families
