Project Manager

We are looking for a talented and mission-driven Project Manager – Innovation Ecosystem (XVIII Airborne Corps OTA) to join our dynamic team and support cutting-edge innovation initiatives within the Department of Defense.

• Serve as the strategic and operational lead for the Joint Innovation Outpost (JIOP) at Fort Bragg, aligning initiatives with the XVIII Airborne Corps' mission to enable data-driven decision-making and technological superiority.
• Lead the planning, execution, and oversight of complex projects within the XVIII ABC Innovation Ecosystem, including software, data, and hardware development.
• Facilitate collaboration between Government, industry, and academic partners to support joint operational missions and emerging technology integration.
• Coordinate with end-users across the Army and other services to ensure that emerging technologies are operationally relevant and scalable.
• Lead structured innovation events such as technical exchanges, challenge workshops, and rapid prototyping sprints to support the capture and refinement of mission requirements.
• Manage project scope, timelines, deliverables, budgets, and key performance indicators in alignment with Agile and Lean principles.
• Assess and onboard emerging technologies including AI/ML, cloud, edge computing, and cybersecurity solutions that support national defense initiatives.
• Oversee prototyping, experimentation, and demonstration events, ensuring successful knowledge transfer and stakeholder feedback loops.
• Provide senior-level briefings and updates, translating technical results into strategic mission impact for DoD leadership.

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or National Security; Master’s preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in project or program management, preferably within the DoD innovation ecosystem.
• Demonstrated expertise in Agile project management, rapid prototyping, and defense-focused R&D efforts.
• Experience with innovation platforms, collaboration tools, and project tracking software (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Slack).
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and foster stakeholder engagement across Government, industry, and academia.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing executive briefings and technical reports.
• Familiarity with DoD systems and environments (e.g., NIPR, SIPR, Army Vantage, AIDP, MSS).
• Ability to manage change in dynamic, high-impact environments and deliver under tight timelines.
• Current Secret Clearance required.

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field (Master’s degree preferred)
