Travel Nursing Job Details

• Assignment Type: Locum tenens (Travel RN Contract)
• Location: Dunn, North Carolina (28334) – North Carolina nursing jobs
• Facility Type: Short-term acute care hospital
• Unit: 4th Floor Med/Surg Telemetry
• Start Date: October 6, 2025
• End Date: January 5, 2026
• Duration: 13-week contract
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), 3 shifts/week
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1680-$1720
• Patient Ratio: 1:4-6
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Guaranteed Hours: All contracted hours guaranteed after 2 call-offs per 13-week assignment
• Charting System: Epic EMR
• Scrub Colors: Royal blue and white

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active RN license (North Carolina or compact state)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, CPI, PALS, NIHSS
• Proficiency with Epic charting system
• Ability to float between campuses as needed
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays as scheduled
• Applicants must reside more than 50 miles from Dunn, NC
• Successful completion of Advanced EKG exam required
• Strong clinical skills in medical-surgical and telemetry nursing

RN Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care to adult and geriatric patients in a Med/Surg Telemetry unit
• Monitor and interpret telemetry, manage dysrhythmias, and respond to acute changes in patient condition
• Administer medications, blood products, and manage central and peripheral IV lines
• Perform wound care, tracheostomy management, and care for surgical drains
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members including physical therapy, respiratory therapy, pharmacy, and social services
• Accurately document patient care using Epic EMR
• Float to similar units or sister campuses as needed
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and clinical standards
