Key Responsibilities of the RN - MedSurg/Tele
- Provide direct patient care, including cardiac rhythm interpretation and management of non-titrating cardiac drips like Cardizem and Amiodarone
- Perform general medical and surgical duties, including IV starts, blood product administration, and wound care
- Respond to changing patient conditions and manage care for patients with tubes and drains
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care
Requirements of the RN - MedSurg/Tele
- 18 months of Med/Tele RN experience
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Proficiency with EPIC EMR system (minimum 6 months experience)
