Home Careolina is the premier non-medical home care agency in the Charlotte and Lake Norman area that provides a wide range of in home care services. Home Careolina is locally owned and operated by two women and is not controlled by a large franchise organization. We have been providing quality care since 2004 and are consistently rated the Best in Home Care by Home Care Pulse, an independent client services screening company. We have shifts all over the Lake Norman Area- Cornelius, Davidson, Huntersville, Mooresville, Denver, Charlotte, etc.

Pay : $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Job description:

Qualified candidates can get started working right away!We are looking for CNAs, with personal care experience to join our team. Candidates will provide assistance with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, transfer assistance, grooming, and meal preparation. They will also be responsible for providing companionship, running errands, and providing transportation to medical appointments. The ideal candidate should have excellent interpersonal skills and a compassionate approach to caregiving. We offer flexible scheduling and have a variety of days/hours available.

We are hiring CNAs! We have part time hours available from 4 hr. shifts to 12 hr. shifts during the day and offer flexible scheduling so we work around your availability! Here are some of the days/hours we have available now:

• 7:30a-11:30a & 4p-8p 7 days a week in Davidson
• Tue/Thur/Fri 10a-2p & 5p-9p in Cornelius
• Sat/Sun 8a-3p in Davidson
• Monday-Friday 10a-5p Charlotte

Responsibilities :

• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and assist with transfers when needed.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping tasks.
• Observe and report changes in the client's condition or behavior.
• Assist with transportation to medical appointments and other activities.
• Medication reminders
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for the client.

Qualifications

• Caregiving experience
• Assisted living or nursing home experience preferred
• Ability to assist with ADLs and patient care
• Familiarity with working with people with developmental disabilities and Alzheimer's care
• Knowledge of providing direct support, senior care, and hospice care
• Basic understanding of vital signs monitoring
• Experience in cleaning and maintaining a safe environment
• Comfortable with long term care and home & community care settings
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
