We are currently looking to hire an Lead Electrician (Residential) in the Sanford, NC area.

Work Schedule: Monday- Friday 7am-4:00pm MUST be willing to be flexible as jobs may change

Position Responsibilities:

• Ensure the correct equipment, materials, and tools to the scene of the job
• String overhead wires and cables
• Install underground conduit and wire
• Effectively read blue prints
• Install, maintain, and repair writing systems and other electrical fixtures and electrical equipment
• Demonstrate continuous efforts to improve operations and decrease turnaround times
• Work independentlyand as a team to provide excellent customer service
• Maintain the willingness to learn new techniques and strategies

Experience and Qualification Requirements:

• Minimum of 4 years Residential Electric experience
• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to read and comprehend written (English) material
• Valid Driver's License
• Ability to pass a background check
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening
• Completion of apprentice program or earlier technical program and plus

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to adhere to large amounts of standing, walking, bending, squatting, sitting and lifting
• Must be able to speak English and hear to communicate
• Must be able to use arms and hands to signal, grab, hold, turn, push, and pull: objects, materials, controls and tools
• Must be able to pick up, lift, carry and move up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to work at heights, climb ladders and stairways, and occasionally work off of platforms/scaffolding, (using the appropriate fall protection requirements)
• Must be able to work in all weather conditions (including heat, rain, cold and wind) while wearing appropriate PPE
• Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) including but not limited to: hard hat, safety glasses, ear plugs, masks/respirators, hi-vis safety vests, gloves and safety toe, construction-grade work boots
