2nd shift Quality Auditor

Overview:

PFL Services is looking for an experience Quality Auditor. This candidate must have one to 5 years of quality experience within the manufacturing setting, preferably in welding, cutting and sewing, upholstery.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Read blueprints and drawing.
• Handles floor quality issues.
• Monitors internal quality checks and current corrective actions.
• Utilize hand held gages, tape measures and rulers to conduct part and fixture studies.
• Perform measurement system studies for component and assembly gages.
• Other duties as required.
• Assist in resolving quality related issues.
• In-process audits
• Identify and separate nonconforming parts (defective).
• Report issues to maintenance as needed and make supervisor aware.

Requirements:

• Must be able to lift 40+ lbs. repetitively.
• Must be able to stand the entire shift.
• Position requires bending, stooping, stretching and reaching.
• Should be able to work well in a multicultural environment.
• Experience in a manufacturing facility.
• Basic knowledge of computer use.
• Flexible to perform multiple job functions and duties.
• One to five years of Quality experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably with Welding, Cut & Sew and Upholstery.
• Training in Quality disciplines including Corrective Actions, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans, and Print Reading preferred.

Language Skills

• Basic understanding of English language.
• Bilingual is a plus

PPE Requirements

• Safety glasses and hearing protection is required.
• Safety shoes are required and are to be purchased by the employee.

Work Location: High Point , NC

Shift: 2nd shift 2:45pm to 11:30pm Monday through Friday

Pay: $15 an hour
