Job Description

Position Summary

The Production Lead is responsible for overseeing daily operations on the CFS production floor, ensuring customer orders are processed accurately, efficiently, and on time. This role provides hands-on leadership for production associates, coordinates workflow across provisioning, asset tagging, etching, quality control, and shipping functions, and drives performance against productivity, quality, and SLA targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and direct daily production floor activities to ensure customer commitments and SLAs are met.
• Assign work, monitor productivity, and balance labor resources across all production functions.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for production associates during assigned shifts.
• Monitor order flow and proactively address bottlenecks impacting throughput.
• Ensure compliance with Lenovo quality standards, customer requirements, and operational procedures.
• Conduct daily start-up meetings, communicate priorities, and provide shift updates.
• Escalate operational issues, equipment failures, inventory shortages, or quality concerns to management.
• Train, coach, and mentor production associates while promoting a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Support inventory accuracy, material movement, and production reporting activities.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment following Lenovo safety and 5S standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in manufacturing, warehouse, fulfillment, or production operations.
• Prior experience leading teams in a fast-paced operational environment.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize work and adapt to changing business demands.
• Experience with shipping, provisioning, logistics, or technology-related operations preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and operational tracking systems.
