HR ASSOCIATE
Location Charlotte, NC | Onsite
COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE
• $42.25/hr (W2 contract)
• Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
ROLE IMPACT: This role supports the organization’s workforce experience by managing employee and applicant accommodation requests from intake through resolution. The consultant ensures timely, compliant, and empathetic handling of cases while balancing regulatory requirements and business needs. Success is defined by high-quality case outcomes, strong stakeholder trust, and consistent compliance with employment laws and regulations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage accommodation cases end-to-end, including intake, documentation, tracking, and resolution within ServiceNow or similar case management systems
• Review medical documentation to confirm disability status and functional limitations in accordance with ADA and company policy
• Facilitate the interactive process with employees, managers, and HR partners to identify reasonable accommodations and alternative solutions
• Recommend and coordinate accommodations such as ergonomic equipment, schedule adjustments, or remote work, partnering with IT, facilities, and vendors as needed
• Provide consultative guidance to HR partners and leaders on accommodation obligations, policy interpretation, and complex cases
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience
• Accommodations case management experience
• Working knowledge of ADA and related employment regulations
CORE TOOLS & SYSTEMS
• ServiceNow or comparable HR case management platforms
• HRIS and document management systems
• Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
PREFERRED SKILLS
• Experience supporting HR shared services or centralized HR operations
• Familiarity with PUMP Act, PWFA, EEOC guidelines, and applicable state/local laws
• Strong judgment and ability to handle confidential, sensitive information
