Technical Project Manager
Location: Huntersville, NC (Hybrid – Some travel required)

Position Summary
The Technical Project Manager supports the successful execution of software development projects by coordinating delivery activities, maintaining delivery visibility, and ensuring consistent follow-through across active initiatives. This role focuses on project execution and operational rigor, supporting the efficiency and productivity of technical teams.
The ideal candidate brings a strong background in technical project management, hands-on experience with Jira, and the ability to coordinate multiple workstreams while maintaining compliance with applicable security and operational standards. This role is well-suited for an experienced Technical Project Manager who brings structure, clarity, and accountability to complex software delivery efforts.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and track software development work across multiple concurrent initiatives
Maintain delivery discipline by monitoring progress, capacity, commitments, and timelines
Own day-to-day execution mechanics, including task tracking, dependency management, and milestone coordination
Administer and maintain Jira boards, workflows, dashboards, and reports to ensure delivery data is accurate and actionable
Track issues, risks, and blockers and proactively surface concerns and facilitate timely resolution
Ensure sprint health by identifying variances early and supporting realistic planning and follow-through
Provide clear, concise delivery status updates and reporting to support informed decision-making
Support compliance-related delivery activities, including tracking and maintaining SOC 2-related artifacts and documentation
Assist with technical coordination and documentation in support of proposals or contractual requirements, as needed
Identify opportunities to improve delivery processes and implement practical enhancements that increase efficiency and predictability
Serve as a reliable execution partner who absorbs coordination and tracking overhead, enabling technical teams to remain focused on delivery
Requirements
5+ years of experience in technical project management, delivery management, or a similar role within a software development environment
Strong understanding of Agile software development practices and applied delivery workflows in production environments
Advanced, hands-on experience using Jira for project tracking, reporting, and workflow administration
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, dependencies, and workstreams in a dynamic environment
Experience supporting delivery in regulated or compliance-sensitive environments; familiarity with SOC 2 is preferred
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience
Willingness to travel within North Carolina for stakeholder meetings and project coordination
