Product Specialist - Solvents

What You’ll Do
- Partner closely with Product Managers and Sales teams to drive margin growth and profitability.
- Analyze business performance (sales, margins, lost business, and opportunity pipelines).
- Build, maintain, and deliver reporting dashboards to support data-driven decision-making.
- Review and manage daily and weekly sales/order reports to identify trends and gaps.
- Support pricing strategy, cost analysis, and Request for Quotation (RFQ) processes.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with procurement, contracts, customer service, and operations.
- Maintain and supervise supplier programs, supports, and vendor agreements.
- Assist in managing product setups, blends, and cost structures within systems.
- Monitor and act on key operational metrics (e.g., open orders, detention, growth programs).
- Communicate market insights, competitive activity, and performance updates to partners.
What You’ll Need
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (minimum 4 years preferred)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with reporting/visualization tools (Tableau preferred).
- Experience working with SAP or similar ERP systems is a plus.
- Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Effective communication skills across cross-functional teams.
- Commercial mentality with interest in pricing, margins, and business strategy.
- Experience in chemicals, distribution, or supply chain is a plus.
- Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Where you’ll work
This is a hybrid opportunity. Preference for candidates based in Dublin, OH; Houston, TX or Philadelphia, PA.
