Product Specialist - Solvents

What You’ll Do

• Partner closely with Product Managers and Sales teams to drive margin growth and profitability.
• Analyze business performance (sales, margins, lost business, and opportunity pipelines).
• Build, maintain, and deliver reporting dashboards to support data-driven decision-making.
• Review and manage daily and weekly sales/order reports to identify trends and gaps.
• Support pricing strategy, cost analysis, and Request for Quotation (RFQ) processes.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with procurement, contracts, customer service, and operations.
• Maintain and supervise supplier programs, supports, and vendor agreements.
• Assist in managing product setups, blends, and cost structures within systems.
• Monitor and act on key operational metrics (e.g., open orders, detention, growth programs).
• Communicate market insights, competitive activity, and performance updates to partners.

What You’ll Need

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (minimum 4 years preferred)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with reporting/visualization tools (Tableau preferred).
• Experience working with SAP or similar ERP systems is a plus.
• Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Effective communication skills across cross-functional teams.
• Commercial mentality with interest in pricing, margins, and business strategy.
• Experience in chemicals, distribution, or supply chain is a plus.
• Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Where you’ll work

This is a hybrid opportunity. Preference for candidates based in Dublin, OH; Houston, TX or Philadelphia, PA.
