Office Manager - Oral Surgery

We are looking for an energetic, well spoken, motivated Office Manager to join our growing oral surgery practice. Duties to include but not limited to:
- Assist in answering phones and scheduling appointments for patients.
- Verify insurance for patient prior to patient’s appointment
- When calling the patient to confirm appointment, make sure to review what is due on the day of consultation or surgery and educate patients with insurance if needed
- Meet with patients for insurance/financial consultation and confirm treatment plan. Make sure treatment plans are signed and scanned.
- Send pre determination as needed to insurances before patient comes in for their surgery if there is time
- Review charges (make sure what was planned in the consult/treatment letter is what took place)
- Claims review and submission
- Go over EOB and checks: make sure insurance allowable amounts are correct, enter insurance payments and write-offs accurately
- Follow up on insurance denials and claims in a timely manner
The ideal candidate will have a minimum 3 year experience in an Oral Surgery office working with WIN-OMS software.
Must be a team player and be willing to jump in and work together with the team.
Bi-Lingual (English/Spanish) language skills a plus
