Pharmacy Tech - Infusion (IV) and Control
About the Job:
We have a full-time position opening for an infusion pharmacy technician. This position works Monday - Friday and every third weekend.
Main duties include:
- Refilling IV orders and supplies to schedule.
- Possess knowledge of medication names and their generic equivalents.
- Preparing sterile medications using aseptic technique.
- Inventory management.
- Maintaining accurate documentation.
- Dispensing in other areas on the floor when needed, and other daily pharmacy technician tasks.
We are a high-volume pharmacy with a fast-paced environment. Pharmacy technician experience is preferred. Our approach to employee development involves hands on experience within the daily working environment. Pay rate will be based off experience.
This position requires a high level of responsibility and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Board certification is preferred but not required.Must have clean background record and drug screen. EOE.
Job Type: Full-time.
Pay: $14-$19 per hour depending on experience.

Experience:
- Pharmacy technician experience: 1 year (Preferred).
- Previous experience as a pharmacy technician in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred. Familiarity with pharmacy operations and medical terminology is necessary.
- Compounding sterile medications in a cleanroom is preferred but not required.
