Steel Fabrication Operator Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $20.00 to $22.00 / hour
• Full Time work available
• First Shift ( Monday through Thursday from 06:00am to 04:30pm )

• Operate band saw and plasma cutting equipment to cut steel to specifications.
• Safely operate a forklift to load, unload, move, and stage materials.
• Read work orders and measurements to ensure accuracy.
• Inspect materials for quality and maintain equipment.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
• Assist with additional fabrication and shop duties as needed.

Steel Fabrication Operator Qualifications:

• 2-3 years of experience in steel fabrication, metal processing, or a related manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience operating a steel saw, plasma cutter, and forklift required.
• Ability to accurately read a tape measure, work orders, and production specifications.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety and quality.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks in a manufacturing environment.
• Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
