The Quality Inspector is a detail-oriented professional responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of manufacturing processes through comprehensive inspections and quality assurance efforts. This role includes performing First Article Inspections (FAIs), in-process and final piece inspections, overseeing outsourced product inspections, maintaining master gage and calibration records, and supporting compliance with (QMS). The Quality Inspector is a key communicator with Machinists and Operators, promoting adherence to quality standards and driving continuous improvement.
Preferred Qualifications
· Extensive experience in quality assurance, inspections, and documentation.
· Proficiency in the use of precision measurement tools, including calipers, micrometers, gages, and coordinate measuring machines (CMMs).
· Strong understanding of ISO standards and Quality Management Systems.
· Excellent communication and problem-solving skills for working collaboratively with internal teams and external partners.
· Dedication to achieving operational and quality excellence in a manufacturing environment.
