The Client Director is accountable for the overall success, growth, and retention of a portfolio of strategic clients. This role serves as the senior point of contact, responsible for building trusted executive relationships, aligning TMF services to the client’s business strategy, and ensuring consistent, high-quality service delivery across all locations and service lines. Working closely with internal stakeholders, the Client Director drives account strategy, identifies growth opportunities, manages risk and escalations, and ensures long-term, mutually beneficial partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the overall client relationship and ensure seamless delivery across all TMF services and locations.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with senior client stakeholders, positioning TMF as a trusted partner.
- Act as the primary client advocate, coordinating effectively between clients and internal TMF teams.
- Develop and lead the extended TMF client service team in line with the client’s strategy.
- Gain a deep understanding of the client’s current and future business needs through regular engagement with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Define and execute an account strategy for each client, including relationship mapping and cross-sell/upsell opportunities.
- Maintain full oversight of the client portfolio, including revenues, services, footprint, entities, and headcount, to support strategic decision-making.
- Manage executive-level escalations and ensure timely resolution in coordination with TMF escalation points.
- Establish and maintain a clear communication and governance model, including regular service and operational meetings.
- Ensure all TMF teams involved have a clear understanding of the client’s business strategy and priorities.
- Lead contract renewals, securing outcomes that balance client needs and TMF’s commercial objectives.

Qualifications & Experience

- Demonstrated ability to build and sustain long-term client relationships, including at executive and decision-maker level.
- Solid understanding of professional and international outsourcing services, including market trends and client operating environments.
- Strategic and critical thinker with a solution-oriented, problem-solving approach.
- Proven capability in long-term planning, solution selling, and portfolio growth.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively across internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Culturally aware with the ability to operate effectively in a global, multi-jurisdictional environment.
- Experienced in coordinating complex, multi-country and multi-service proposals.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently while contributing effectively to a team.
- Service excellence–driven, proactive in removing obstacles and improving client outcomes.
- Open to change and continuous improvement, with a commitment to learning across TMF’s service offerings.
- Acts with integrity and consistently upholds TMF’s values.
Experience
- Relevant experience in a commercial, consulting, professional services, or regulated services environment (e.g., consulting, accounting, legal, or funds organisations).
- Proven track record in client relationship management, including ownership of delivery, execution, escalations, and portfolio growth.
- Demonstrated success operating within a complex, matrixed organisation.
