This role requires proficiency in delivering competent clinical nursing care in a hospital environment, with a focus on managing Intermediate Care (IMC) patients. Key Responsibilities of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

• Coordinate and deliver patient care utilizing the nursing process
• Participate in patient and family education
• Perform bedside point of care testing as needed
• Organize and prioritize patient care in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
• Develop and implement care plans alongside patients and families
• Promote a safe and secure hospital environment
• Participate in research and professional development

Requirements of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

• Minimum of 2 years current IMC experience
• One year of nursing experience
• Nursing Diploma, ADN, or ASN from an accredited school
• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification (AHA or ARC)
