CT Technologist Job Details – Albany, NY

• Assignment Type: Travel CT Technologist
• Healthcare Setting: Hospital – Level I Trauma and Academic Medical Center
• Location: Albany, NY 12208 (New York healthcare jobs)
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2500–$2560
• Start Date: August 18, 2025
• End Date: November 15, 2025
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 12:00pm – 10:30pm (Four 10-hour evening shifts per week)
• Hours per Week: 40
• No on-call responsibilities

CT Technologist Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved two-year AMA Radiologic Technology program
• High school diploma or equivalent
• New York State Registration in Diagnostic Radiography or limited permit to practice in NY
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Current BLS for Healthcare Provider, CPR, or CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer certification
• At least 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist preferred

CT Technologist Responsibilities

• Perform advanced CT procedures and assist in clinical evaluation and patient care in a fast-paced hospital environment
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images using state-of-the-art CT technology
• Support trauma, emergency room, outpatient, inpatient, research, and specialized CT-guided procedures
• Ensure radiation safety compliance per New York State Department of Health regulations
• Contribute to teaching and professional development as medical imaging technology evolves
• Deliver a safe, positive patient experience throughout all imaging procedures
