Our Intake Department is growing! We are a Family Law Firm in Cary, NC that protects smart people from making the wrong decisions when getting married and divorced. We are looking for a compassionate and detail-oriented individual who is great with people. Our Intake Specialist must have exceptional communication skills, be able to listen and be understanding, and empathize with potential new clients. Want to know what it is like to work at Triangle Smart Divorce? Hear what our employees have to say! • Responsibilities: You will hold one of the most important positions on our Team. Your primary functions will be:
  • To promptly respond to potential client calls, chats and web-based inquiries
  • Ability to establish rapport and relationships through effective communication
  • Handle different types of situations and conversations
  • Qualify and screen leads for type of case, needed information and conflicts of interest
  • Schedule initial consultations
  • Initiate the pre-engagement glide path
  • Ensure all leads are properly directed through the intake funnel
  • Follow up with potential new clients who do not engage the Firm during the initial consultation
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date notes and files in case management software
  • Check-in periodically with existing clients, alumni clients, and referral sources
  • Work collaboratively with the other members of the Intake and Legal Team
  • This is an in-person position in our Cary, NC office
Qualifications:
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Prior customer service experience is helpful
  • Experience with Excel and CRM software, particularly data tracking and reporting, is preferred
  • Real-life experience and a few “battle scars” that gives you empathy and understanding is an asset
  • Experience overcoming a major obstacle in life and making an important change in your life, so you know at your core that others can do it too, is a plus
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Responsible and dependable
  • Able to think critically and problem-solve
  • Must be able to work well under stress, multi-task, and take directions
  • Meticulous attention to detail is needed
  • Adaptable to different communication styles
  • Prefer experience in some type of legal environment
  • Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a Team
  • A Bachelor’s Degree is required
