TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Greensboro, North Carolina, 27401!
Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience required License: Active Registered Nurse License Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: - EKG exam pass required - Epic charting system experience required - Ability to interpret laboratory results Description: The Registered Nurse will work in an inpatient rehabilitation department. The position involves providing specialized care for patients with rehabilitation needs. Patient populations may include those recovering from CVA, TBI, ABI, spinal cord injuries, and other neurological diagnoses. The RN will be responsible for medication reconciliation and patient assessments. The role includes performing dressing changes and setting up aseptic or sterile procedure trays. The RN will be expected to perform phlebotomy and label specimens. The position requires telephone triage and managing patient refill requests. The nurse will float as needed and work every third weekend and holidays. The expected patient ratio is 1:6. Candidates should be prepared to meet compliance deadlines and testing requirements prior to starting. Travelers are expected to have previous experience in acute care rehabilitation.
