Parts Counter Sales
- Assist customers in identifying and purchasing trailer parts, components, and accessories.
- Provide expert product knowledge, pricing, and availability information.
- Process orders accurately via phone, email, and in-person transactions.
- Maintain inventory levels through regular cycle counts and audits.
- Collaborate with service and sales departments to fulfill internal requests.
- Communicate with vendors and suppliers for special orders and back orders.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards.
- Grow and maintain existing customer relationships.
- Work with outside sales to develop new accounts.
- All other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training preferred.
- At least 3 years’ experience in trailer parts sales, inside sales, or parts-related experience.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems; prior experience with CDK preferred.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to interpret trailer parts diagrams and technical manuals.
- Basic math skills, organization, attention to detail, and time management.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving history.
- Must be able to lift at least 75 pounds unassisted.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Must be comfortable working in a warehouse/shop environment.
