Job Summary

The DMS System Engineer will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of the Distribution Management System (DMS). This role involves working closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure the DMS meets the organization needs and complies with industry standards. This role involves supporting the ADMS application involving distribution, Outage and SCADA systems.

Responsibilities

• Key Responsibilities - System Design and Implementation Design and implement the DMS architecture to meet business requirements. Configure and customize the DMS to ensure optimal performance and user experience. Integrate the DMS with other enterprise systems such as SCADA, OMS, and GIS.
  - Maintenance and Support Monitor the performance of the DMS and troubleshoot any issues that arise. Provide technical support to end- users and resolve any system‑related problems. Perform regular system updates and maintenance to ensure the DMS remains up-to-date and secure.
  - Data Management Oversee data migration and ensure data accuracy and consistency. Implement data quality controls and monitoring mechanisms. Ensure compliance with data governance policies and procedures.
  - Collaboration and Communication

The annual salary for this position is between $128K – $160K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
