Overview

Futral Enterprises, a premier custom builder based in Highlands, NC, is hiring a Project Design Coordinator to support both residential and commercial construction projects. This role plays a key part in guiding clients through the finish selection process and ensuring design choices align with the homeowner's vision, project specifications, and construction timelines.

You'll work closely with homeowners, interior designers, architects, and our field team to coordinate custom selections — while also assisting with interior and finish selections for our spec homes. This is a collaborative, detail-driven position where design and logistics meet on the job site.

Ideal candidates are highly organized, design-minded, and strong communicators.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and requirements for each project while professionally representing Futral Enterprises.
• Assist clients and designers with finish selections (lighting, tile, flooring, paint, fixtures, etc.) that support schedules and specifications.
• Effectively coordinate with engineers, architects, designers, and other stakeholders while serving as a liaison to the field team.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
• Conduct site visits to gather information, assess project progression and build strong relationships with the field team.
• Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies to enhance design quality.
• Create and modify design documents using industry-standard software tools and track selection approvals and documentation using Buildertrend

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Design, Architecture, or a related field, preferred.
• Proficiency in computer skills and design software.
• Strong portfolio showcasing previous design work.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with clients and team members.
• Ability to manage time efficiently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail with a strong aesthetic sense.
• Previous experience in project management or working within a team-oriented environment is preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
