About the Role:
The Staff Accountant will play a key role in maintaining financial accuracy across our digital and wholesale operations. You will manage reconciliations, track inventory and cost of goods sold, and ensure our financial systems—particularly NetSuite and Shopify—are aligned. Your work will help provide our team with the insight and data it needs to support parents at every stage.

What You’ll Do:

• Manage day-to-day accounting tasks including journal entries, bank reconciliations, and month-end close processes.
• Reconcile sales, payment, and refund data between Shopify, payment processors (e.g., Stripe, PayPal), and NetSuite.
• Track and reconcile inventory levels and COGS across our warehouse(s), 3PL partners, and NetSuite.
• Monitor revenue and expense flows from eCommerce and retail/wholesale channels.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes with accurate financial reporting.
• Collaborate with operations and logistics teams to ensure accurate inventory movement and costing.
• Prepare audit schedules and assist with tax and compliance documentation.
• Contribute to process improvements, especially around system automation and data integration.

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2–4 years of accounting experience, ideally in consumer goods or baby/parenting product space.
• Experience working with NetSuite ERP and Shopify is strongly preferred.
• Understanding of inventory and cost accounting for physical goods.
• Familiarity with 3PLs, freight, and warehouse accounting preferred.
• Strong Excel and data management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, family-first environment.
• CPA or CPA candidate is a plus, but not required.
