Travel Nursing Job Details

• Assignment Type: Travel RN – EP Lab
• Healthcare Setting: Electrophysiology Lab (EP Lab), may float to Cath Lab
• Location: Winston Salem, NC 27103 (North Carolina healthcare jobs)
• Start Date: October 6, 2025
• End Date: January 5, 2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 4x10-hour days (06:45 - 17:15), late coverage 1-2 days/week
• Hours per Week: 40
• Weekend Requirement: None
• Orientation: 3 days (scrubs provided)
• Patient Population: Adults and Geriatrics
• Unit Systems: Pyxis, EPIC, Prucka (GE)
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2250 - $2310

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active NC or Compact Registered Nurse (RN) license (required at start)
• Minimum 2 years of recent EP Lab RN experience
• Previous travel nursing experience required (no first-time travelers)
• Certifications: ACLS, BCLS (American Heart Association preferred)
• Proficient in circulating, scrubbing, and electrophysiology (EP) procedures
• Strong skills in interpretation and management of cardiac dysrhythmias
• Experience with Epic charting system
• Ability to float to Cath Lab as needed
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions accepted)

Key Responsibilities

• Circulate and scrub for EP Lab procedures in a high-acuity healthcare environment
• Manage and interpret cardiac dysrhythmias for adult and geriatric patients
• Provide clinical support for electrophysiology procedures and cardiac care
• Maintain accurate documentation using Epic electronic health records
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Float to Cath Lab as needed based on census and skill set
• Adhere to isolation precautions and hospital safety protocols
• Complete a comprehensive 3-day orientation and required training modules
