Electrical Service Manager

What You’ll Do
As our Electrical Service Manager , you’ll be responsible for leading and supporting our residential electrical service team, not just managing their schedules, but mentoring their growth, ensuring technical excellence, and upholding the Dawson’s Electric & Air brand in every home we enter. Your day-to-day will include:
Manage and mentor a team of residential electrical service technicians
Provide ongoing training in:
Electrical code and safety standards
Hands-on trade skills
Service soft skills (customer interaction, communication, relationship building)
Presenting pricing and solutions confidently and clearly
Ride along with service techs to coach in the field
Review jobs and provide feedback for technical accuracy and service quality
Work closely with dispatch and leadership to ensure high-quality service delivery and customer satisfaction
Help onboard and develop new service techs to succeed in a customer-facing, performance-driven environment
Collaborating with sales and operations teams to develop proposals
Monitoring service metrics and driving productivity improvements
Identify skills gaps and provide structured development plans for technicians
Hold technicians accountable to company standards in both trade and service

Compensation : $65,000 - $130,000 annually, with performance-based bonuses.

High School Diploma and an electrical background.
6+ years of management or electrical experience.
Strong leadership skills with proven team motivation abilities.
Track record of delivering high customer satisfaction.
Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of current electrical codes.
Understanding of accounting and finance principles related to the industry.
Physical ability to climb stairs, lift 15-20 lbs, and work up to 12-hour days.
Comfortable with business casual dress code.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Must pass background and drug screening.
Authorized to work in the U.S.
