Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a highly organized, dependable, and motivated Staffing Scheduler / Coordinator to join our skilled nursing team.

• Opportunity to play an important role in daily facility operations

• Create, maintain, and adjust nursing staff schedules based on facility needs

• Monitor daily staffing levels and proactively identify coverage needs

• Manage call-offs, schedule changes, and replacement coverage

• Contact available staff to fill open shifts

• Maintain accurate staffing schedules, records, and documentation

• Communicate staffing updates and concerns promptly with nursing leadership

• Assist with tracking employee attendance, availability, and scheduling needs

• Build positive working relationships with nursing staff and facility leadership

• Respond quickly and professionally to last-minute staffing changes

• Help ensure appropriate staffing coverage to support quality resident care

• Active North Carolina CNA certification required

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Previous staffing or scheduling experience preferred

• Healthcare, skilled nursing, or long-term care experience preferred

• Strong organizational and time-management skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Dependable, professional, and able to maintain confidentiality
