• Location: Winston Salem, NC 27103
• Healthcare Setting: Hospital (Outpatient, Inpatient, ER, Adult ICU)
• Job Type: Locum Tenens / Travel MRI Technologist
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 10/22/2025 – End: 1/21/2026)
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts (Thursday-Saturday, 17:00 – 05:30)
• Weekly Hours: 36
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1910 - $1960
• Patient Demographics: Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics
• MRI Equipment: Siemens Avanto/Sola, GE Premier MRI systems
• Charting Systems: EPIC, Visage (PACS)
• Scrubs: Royal Blue Tops and Bottoms

MRI Technologist Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of MRI Technologist experience in hospital or clinical settings
• Proficiency with Siemens Avanto/Sola and GE Premier MRI equipment
• Skilled in MRI procedures: Abdomen, Pelvis, Head/Neck, Chest, Spine, Musculoskeletal, Diffusion (non-brain), Gradient Echo Imaging, Image Post-Processing, MIP, MRP, Perfusion, Peripheral Magnetic Resonance, Spectroscopy, Spin Echo Images, Surface Coils, T-1 & T-2 Weighted Images
• Experience in outpatient, inpatient, ER, community hospital, and adult ICU environments
• Knowledge of PACS and contrast administration
• Active ARRT(R) or ARRT(MR) credential required
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• EPIC charting experience required
• Ability to work independently on third shift

MRI Technologist Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive MRI procedures for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
• Operate Siemens and GE MRI systems, ensuring high-quality imaging and patient safety
• Manage a caseload of approximately 40 patients across 3 MRI rooms per shift
• Utilize EPIC and Visage (PACS) for accurate charting and image management
• Work independently during night shifts, with occasional support from an Operations Assistant
• Prepare and administer contrast media as needed
• Maintain compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards
• Complete a 1-week orientation on first shift prior to independent work
