The facility serves as a referral center for trauma, comprehensive stroke care, and a neonatal intensive care unit. It is the only children's hospital in the region, offering a pediatric emergency room with several pediatric subspecialists. The organization boasts the busiest robotic surgery program in the region and provides advanced cardiology services. Successful candidates will work in a supportive environment dedicated to continuous learning and professional growth. Unit specifics include surgical green or navy scrubs, with a patient ratio of 1:2. There is availability of healthcare unit secretaries and patient care technicians. The unit uses standard PACU equipment and documentation is completed through a designated system. Candidates will need to commit to 6-week scheduling with required on-call shifts. Floating within peri-anesthesia may be necessary. Advanced skills needed include ventilator monitoring. Certification in specific life support programs is essential.
