Microelectronics Assembler

Join an internationally recognized designer, manufacturer and marketer of resistive foil technology, sensors and sensor-based systems as a Full-Time Microelectronics Assembler at VPG’s location in Wendell, NC. The Assembler will perform fabrication functions in the production of devices. They will also support policies & procedures to promote continuous improvement to the quality of the product.
Responsibilities:
- Read, understand, and follow all forms of procedures, processes, work orders and any related documentation to produce high quality products. Following and comprehending SOPs is vital at all times.
- Use of magnifiers, microscopes, small hand tools, tweezers, scalpels and razor blades.
- Works with chemicals and solutions.
- Responsible to operate, maintain, and perform housekeeping tasks for machine/equipment.
- System usage may be required for use processing work orders.
- Responsible for material expiration date control as outlined in the process.

REQUIREMENTS
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of production/manufacturing experience preferred
- Ability to stand or sit for long periods of the day
- Good penmanship, basic math skills, and good hand/eye coordination
- Hair nets, lab coats and smocks must be worn
