Job Title: Sr. Associate, Systems Engineer (Avionics) Job Code: 31305 Job Location: Greenville, TX (On-Site) Job Schedule: 1st Shift 9/80 Job Description: The Sr. Associate, Systems Engineering position is responsible for being part of a team that supports the design, development, test and integration of complex, specialized hardware/software installed on the aircraft flight deck and labs. Essential Functions: + Works with other Systems Engineering, Flight Line Test, Product Development, and Project Engineering personnel to understand new modifications and baseline functionality. + Plans and executes integration testing in a Systems Integration Laboratory and on airborne platforms. + Follow existing standards to document system testing status and anomalies with the system hardware and software. + Works with management to develop and adhere to schedules and budgets required to accomplish assigned work. + Assist in the generation of requirements based off customer Statement of Work and development of test plan to verify the system meets those requirements. + Aircraft Avionics experience. + Excellent oral and written communication skills to develop and deliver complex topics. + Proficient in using the Microsoft Office suite of applications. + Excellent interpersonal skills to work with internal and external customers. + Understanding of Avionic Equipment and Subsystems. + Willing and able to travel as needed (up to 10%). + Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance. + Other duties as assigned by Supervisor. Qualifications: + Bachelor's Degree with two (2) years of prior Electrical, Systems or Software Engineering experience, or associated technical field. + Graduate Degree with zero (0) to two (2) years of Electrical, Systems or Software Engineering experience, or associated technical field. + In lieu of a degree, a minimum of four (4) years of Electrical, Systems or Software Engineering experience, or associated technical field. + Must be a U.S. citizen.
