• Assignment Type: Locum Tenens / Travel Nursing Contract
• Location: Franklin, North Carolina 28734
• Facility: 17-bed Emergency Department
• Start Date: August 25, 2025
• End Date: November 24, 2025
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 1:00 PM – 1:00 AM (12-hour shifts)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Scheduling: Track scheduling; every other weekend required
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1640 - $1680 per week

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license (North Carolina or compact state)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Department or Critical Care nursing experience
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, ENPC, CPI
• Proficient IV skills and experience with vasoactive medications
• Ability to float to other hospital units as needed (within validated competencies)
• Strong documentation and communication skills
• Compassionate, patient-focused attitude
• Must meet all standards in the Nursing Scope of Practice and Corporate Code of Conduct
• Navy scrubs required for all shifts

ER Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate emergency nursing care in a 17-bed Emergency Department
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:4-5, collaborating with RNs, Paramedics, ED Techs, and clinical support staff
• Utilize advanced medical equipment: GE Monitors, Level 1, Zoll, CareFusion/Baxter
• Document patient care using Cerner FirstNet electronic health records
• Perform advanced clinical procedures: central lines, arterial lines, intubation, CPR, lumbar puncture, vaginal exams, urinary catheterization, paracentesis, chest tubes, external jugular and intraosseous line insertion
• Demonstrate excellence in patient experience and emergency care with every interaction
• Participate in a culture of teamwork, accountability, and ongoing professional development
• Adhere to all hospital, healthcare, and unit-specific policies and guidelines
