Business Systems Analyst – Treasury IT (Murex)
Location: Raleigh, NC (Hybrid)

A leading U.S. financial institution with more than 120 years of history is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to join its Treasury IT team . The firm has built a strong reputation for service, stability, and long-term financial planning—helping families and businesses grow for over a century.

This role delivers strategic insight into business systems through complex analysis, reporting, and operational activities. The Analyst will serve as a technical expert on system usage and performance—partnering closely with business, development, and infrastructure teams to support the ongoing buildout of the bank’s Treasury, Investments, Capital Markets, Cash, and Liquidity Management capabilities.

Responsibilities:

• Gather, analyze, and interpret complex data to identify system and process improvements
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications and technical deliverables
• Lead testing, validation, and deployment of system enhancements
• Provide ongoing support for business systems, resolving issues and optimizing performance
• Collaborate with business partners, IT, and shared services teams to align solutions with enterprise goals
• Support data governance, lineage, and quality initiatives across Treasury functions

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree and 4+ years of experience in Systems Support, Analytics, or Operations
  (or 8+ years of relevant experience without a degree)
• Advanced SQL skills with ability to write and optimize complex queries
• Proven experience in requirements gathering, process reengineering, and testing
• Familiarity with SDLC and Agile methodologies
• Strong communication skills with ability to partner across business and IT teams

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in Treasury, Liquidity, Group Finance, Regulatory Reporting, or Product Control
• Knowledge of financial instruments (Repos, Derivatives, Investments, Cash, Debt)
• Prior experience working with Murex (Front, Middle, or Back Office) – required
• Exposure to trading system integrations or data lineage projects is a plus
